DELIVERY SERVICE

At Tommy Swiss we strive to provide the best delivery service. Most of our items are delivered by third party courier services and as such we have provided a list of common questions to explain how our whole delivery process works!

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

As all our items at Tommy Swiss are large parcel items, we dispatch your item through courier companies. However, we still strive to offer free shipping on a majority of our products to most areas across Australia. The easiest way to see the shipping cost is to input your postcode on the shipping calculator located on the product page itself. A shipping cost which shows $0 will mean that this product will be delivered free of charge. Please note not all products and not all areas will be offered with free delivery.

HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

Usually all orders are dispatched from our warehouse within 24 hours. Once the order is dispatched, the transit time depends on how far away you are located from our Melbourne warehouse. Usually orders within Melbourne take around 2-6 working days transit time. For orders going to Sydney or Adelaide, these take around 4-12 working days. For Brisbane, it is usually around 4-9 working days. Orders going to regional areas, or WA can sometimes take substantially longer, anywhere from 4 to 14 working days. Please note, if an item is on presale, the dispatch from our warehouse will occur roughly around the advertised expected dispatch date.

CAN I TRACK THE PROGRESS OF MY ORDER?

Yes, once an order has been dispatched from our warehouse we will send you a shipment email notification which will contain your tracking number and which courier company. Please go to the specific courier's website and input your tracking number to see the latest status updates. If you would like to schedule a particular date, you can either organise that directly with the courier once you have your tracking number, or if you email us we can organise that for you directly with the courier. Please note the courier can only deliver Monday to Friday during standard hours. All deliveries are processed with Authority to Leave with a dropdown box at checkout to choose a safe place to leave your order. Please choose an alternative delivery address if there is no safe place to leave as drivers are not always able to call prior to delivery.

IF I ORDER SEVERAL ITEMS FROM TOMMY SWISS, WILL THEY BE DELIVERED AT THE SAME TIME?

Yes, usually when you place all the items under one order, you will receive just one order number and one tracking number. This means that the courier should deliver all the boxes together at the same time. Occasionally, some boxes may be split during the courier transit process. If this happens, please contact both the courier and us, so that we can make sure the remaining boxes get delivered quickly to you.

CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?

Once you place the order, you can still change the delivery address within a 6 hour window from when you place the order by emailing us. After this period of time, the order is fully locked and any changes to the order, such as product changes or address changes cannot be made. Please be careful you input the correct address and choose the correct products you want, as return shipping by the customer can sometimes be quite expensive.

DO I NEED TO BE AT HOME WHEN MY ORDER IS BEING DELIVERED?

Yes, it is highly recommended to be at home when your order is being delivered. This is especially important for larger items where someone will need to be present to assist the driver to unload from their vehicle. If you are not home, the driver may leave your product at a safe place at your home and deliver it with an ATL (authority to leave). As such it is important to keep a close eye on the courier tracking page to see when your order will be delivered. All orders will be shipped with the tracking number and courier details emailed to you, so you can follow the delivery directly on the courier’s website.

FOR ITEMS HEAVIER THAN 25KG OR OVERSIZED.

Due to OHS reasons, for items that are heavier than 25kg, the driver will need a capable person at the receiving address to provide some assistance. Our courier can only deliver to the ground floor of any address.

I MADE A MISTAKE, CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

Once you place your order you can still change or cancel the order within 6 hours if you have made a mistake. However after 6 hours, your order is already sent to our warehouse for shipment and shortly after your order will be in transit. If you need to cancel your order after 6 hours, we will need to ask the courier to return the item back to our warehouse which will incur a recall fee. Please note recall fees by the courier will vary depending on how far the cartons have already travelled.

CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER DIRECTLY FROM YOUR WAREHOUSE?

At the moment, all our orders are shipped directly from our warehouse. We do not offer any pick up option.
