The Grip Trex dog boots set the standard in paw wear for dogs who hike, bike, run, or explore the great outdoors with their humans.

With the Grip Trex, those paws can go the distance thanks to the rugged and resilient Ruffwear-designed Vibram outsole with exceptional traction and protection on varied terrain. Breathable mesh upper provides ventilation, and the closure system combines hook-and-loop with hardware, cinching around the narrowest part of the dog’s leg to provide a secure fit.

Set of TWO boots. Many dogs have wider front paws than rear paws. We offer our boots in sets of two so you can order the appropriate sizes for a good fit on both the front and rear paws.

    She disco’ed!

    I bought my Great Dane a pair for her back paws after buying her front paws a pair and she didn’t mind them. Once we put the back ones on she forgot how to walk but remembered how to run no problem! She looked like she was doing some sort of disco dance-but they protect her big ol’ feet! We let her run in them around the yard to break them in and after a few minutes she forgot she had them on! Now she is ready to take on the world and avoid injury!

    The only dog boots I'll buy

    These are amazing. The quality and durability are top notch and have survived mud, rain, granite slabs, scorching desert sand, and more. Like any canine footwear, it takes some practice and training to get used to. I also like the bright colors, it makes it easier to find them if one slips off on trail. I also like that Ruffwear now sells these in pairs instead of sets of 4 - front paws aren't the same size as back paws. Take your time to size correctly and give your dog a chance to acclimate to the boots before you expect them to do any long walks or hikes in them. Happy trails!
