4 days Camel trek From Marrakech
4 days Camel trek From MarrakechThis was our first trip to Morocco and because of our tour experience with Hassan, we can't wait to return! Before our trip, Hassan and his team was clear and prompt with communications, answering any questions that arose. Though we initially booked the 4 day camel trek, we worked with Hassan to modify our tour and minimize our time in the desert during the day due to very high temperatures (in late May, early June - other times of year are more amenable to 4 full days in the Sahara). We experienced scenic drives through the Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate and then Merzouga, stopping at beautiful sights and taking in the landscape. We walked through a weekly market in a Berber village and were introduced to small local-run argan oil and rose dispensaries. Our highlight were camel rides at sunset and sunrise in the Sahara near Merzouga and the evening with our accommodating hosts at the desert camp. Hassan was a fantastic guide and driver, and he was an excellent host to our group. For our tour specifically: breakfasts and dinners were included in the tour cost, lunches were purchased along the way each day. Some of our days included pretty long drives, around 9 hours on our longest day, but we were comfortable in our car with AC. If you're interested in touring with Zoubir Tours, but you're wary of longer drives, don't hesitate to reach out to Hassan - he has been very flexible and accommodating for our trip. Overall, we would love to return to Morocco and will not hesitate to travel with Hassan again!

The food was brilliant and you can tell how much the tour guide and the porters care about and enjoy the jobs they do. It is relatively tough doing the 4 days hiking but Monica kept us at a good pace and never pushed us to go faster, encouraging us to take frequent breaks which also helped us enjoy the journey more. Her knowledge was amazing, and she explained the history around all the stops along the way and then gave us a brilliant tour once we arrived at Machu Picchu.
